Carolina Campus Community Garden

The Carolina Campus Community Garden (CCCG) is a program of the North Carolina Botanical Garden and aims to grow vegetables and fruit so that all UNC employees have access to fresh, sustainably grown produce through the shared efforts of staff, students, faculty, and local residents and to serve as a learning community for developing gardening skills, healthy living, social responsibility, and interdisciplinary academic pursuits.

We welcome all UNC staff, faculty, students and community members to help us grow vegetables and fruit for UNC’s lower wage workers. If you want to follow along with the garden’s progress, check out News/Events or check our FacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages. If you want to learn more about volunteering and what the garden does, check out our FAQ page.

If you would like to stay up to date on what is going on in the garden, subscribe to our mailing list here. Via the mailing list, you will receive approximately 2 emails a week about tasks for the upcoming workday, what we accomplished the previous workday (including how many pounds we harvested and some photos), special events, workday cancellations, etc.

Due to UNC Policy, we are unable to provide court-ordered community service hours at this time.
